Game Settings

- Settings that are toggled by the user in the game menu are stored locally in the headset

 

Oculus User ID

- The app associates ninja coins and cosmetic item purchases with your oculus user id. Doing so allows the game to load the correct amount of ninja coins and owned cosmetics when you log in.

- The app uses match results to calculate a skill rating for your account, which is associated with your oculus user id. Doing so allows the game to improve the skill gap in lobbies by giving information on their skill level in the lobby list before you join.

- Associating your ninja coin purchases, item purchases, and skill rating with an oculus id allows these crucial points of information to be transferred across any devices, as long as you sign in with your oculus account.

- If you would like to delete any data associated with your oculus account, please contact me at neozhou777@gmail.com, and I can manually delete any data associated with your oculus id from the server.

Analytics

- Cosmetic items purchases and the result of a random 1% of matches are logged by mixpanel for analytics purposes
 

Voice Chat Reports (Upcoming Update)

- Voice chat is recorded only when another player reports you for bad behavior. The recording covers approximately the 120 seconds of your voice chat immediately preceding the report. Voice chat is not otherwise recorded or stored.

- Reported recordings are used to determine whether your voice chat violated community standards (hate speech, harassment, grooming, etc).

- Reported recordings are transcribed and analyzed by AI. Recordings may also be reviewed by a human moderator. 

- Reported recordings are kept for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted. The text transcript and the moderation decision are retained as part of our moderation audit log.

- If a violation is found, your account may be muted in voice chat. Mute durations escalate with repeated violations and decay after 30 days of clean activity.

- You can appeal a mute decision through the in-game inbox.

- To request deletion of data related to any reported voice recordings still within the 30-day retention window, please contact me at neozhou777@gmail.com.
